Two Months

It's hard to believe that we've had her here for this long {or short, depending on how you look at it}.  She's been such a joy to each of us in ways we didn't know could happen.  Kyra says she doesn't just love her, she adores her.   Guy can't get over how cute she is and has to hold her, even if she's crying.  He likes having the opportunity to at least try to calm her.  And Phill and I just see her differently than we saw Kyra and Guy.  Back then, we were still babies ourselves and now we're much more mature and appreciative.  Not that we didn't adore and love and cherish and coo and hold and .. with them, it's just different now.

She is collectively our baby.  We all agree.

As if that weren't enough, you've blessed my family so that it will continue in your presence always.  Because you have blessed it, God, it's really blessed-blessed for good!  1 Chronicles 17:27 [The Message]

Oh and btw, I really like cloth diapers.

  1. Isn't it amazing how maturity and a realization that little doesn't last long makes you sappier? LOVE that K & G have bonded so tightly with her. I've always loved how much my older kids dote on their younger siblings. Precious!

  2. thanks!! i'm glad to hear that and i was a bit worried that it might not be taken the way i meant if we like her more or something. lol.

  3. Not at all how I heard you. =) It's more relaxing to parent the 3rd, 4th, etc. child because you've learned so much from the others who came before. Additionally, if you're conscientious to meet your other kids where they are and include them in the process of your youngers, that family bond is exponentially greater for everyone. Sounds like you have that lesson down pat.
